Our Mission

Doubleday’s Tax Service was founded with the goal of assisting our clients in every aspect of their tax lives. We work closely with each client to help them achieve their goals.

Our staff consists of experienced professionals with a “hands on” approach to tax advice. Not only will you find our team members knowledgeable, but you will also discover that our staff truly cares about making your dreams a reality.

Our History

We were founded in 1999 by Chuck Doubleday working in his home office in San Jose. After pursuing a career in engineering, Chuck had decided that it was time to help people tackle the complex world of taxes. His primary goals included helping his clients get the most of their hard-earned dollars and to provide them with unmatched personalized service.

We carry these values forward today, along with Chuck’s passion for keeping his office current with the latest technology to offer our clients a personalized tax team equipped to assist in all tax matters.

Our Team

Julie Brown

EA President/Owner Doubleday's Tax Service

Julie is a San Francisco Bay Area native with over 20 years of tax experience. Julie’s forward thinking has enabled the firm to be at the forefront of tax preparation. She specializes in individual, partnership, corporate and trust returns as well as rental real estate and 1031 exchanges.

Julie provides tax planning, consultation and compliance services to closely held and family owned businesses, start-up companies and high net worth individuals and their families. She is also very experienced with audit notices and audit representation. When Julie is not preparing tax returns, she enjoys reading, hiking and volunteering at BOK Ranch.

Sepi Riaziat

Bookkeeper

Sepi has recently joined us as our accounting and bookkeeping specialist with over 15 years of experience in providing payroll, sales tax, and bookkeeping to small businesses.

She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and excels in streamlining the accounting processes for small businesses. She has worked in CPA offices and startup companies and has experience in preparing individual and corporate income tax returns.

Sepi enjoys working with numbers. In her free time, she loves to travel and to spend time with her family.

Adrienne Brown

Office Manager

Adrienne is our Office Manager and Receptionist who came to Doubleday’s Tax Service in March of 2017.

She brings 4 years of customer service experience, a passion for data analysis and enthusiasm for helping our clients. She is currently our social media manager and is always on the lookout for good things to share.

Adrienne holds a BS in Animal Science from Montana State University. When she’s not working she’s enjoying the great outdoors, jogging with her dog Duke, gardening or baking.
