Julie A. Brown, EA
For over 5 years Julie has worked side by side with Chuck Doubleday, founder of Doubleday’s Tax Service, and is now stepping into his shoes as President and CEO as Chuck begins to enjoy his retirement.
Julie’s background in tax preparation includes being a tax preparer for H&R Block and as a licensed Enrolled Agent for Doubleday’s Tax Service. Julie also served as an accountant for a major aerospace company for several years. Julie has a strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and estate/trust tax preparation. Julie is also proficient in Quickbooks. Julie keeps abreast of new and changing tax laws by attending seminars and conferences annually. She also serves with and attends ongoing conferences in the local tax practitioner’s organization. Julie enjoys the relationships she has formed with the clients of Doubleday’s Tax Service and looks forward to continuing to provide excellent service in meeting your tax planning and preparation needs.
Julie also enjoys sharing in the activities of her teenage daughters, cooking, reading, and quilting.

I worked for a local technology company until I retired in 2001. It was then that a friend talked me into taking the H&R Block Basic Tax Preparation class. As we progressed through the class, I discovered that I enjoyed learning about taxes, talking about taxes, and preparing tax returns. In 2001, I started working at H&R Block as a tax preparer and discovered that I really enjoyed working with clients and helping them save money on their taxes. In 2002, I became an Office Manager for H&R Block. I continued to prepare tax returns, but also had the opportunity to assist clients with tax letters and audits. I soon discovered that I enjoyed helping clients resolve issues with taxing authorities. In 2003, I passed the IRS enrolled Agent (EA) exam and continued to work at H&R Block until 2009 when I was offered the opportunity to work at Doubleday’s Tax Service.
I still enjoy learning about taxes, talking about taxes and helping clients resolve issues with taxing authorities. In addition, I enjoy summer trips to Colorado, bowling and a nice glass of wine!
Linda Campos
Linda is our office manager and front reception person. She is also Julie's sister. Linda came to work at Doubleday's Tax Service when her (and Julie's) mom retired in 2009. Linda's background includes teaching and running her own business for over 11 years. Linda's knowledge of business administration and small business operations are truly an asset to our company.
Linda is also a student in grad school at San Jose State University studying Child and Adolescent Development. When she's not working or going to class, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and two little dogs. She also likes to read, write, garden, cook, and is the family photographer.
Chuck Doubleday, EA
Chuck is now enjoying his retirement.
